The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), Hong Kong’s central banking institution released a series of principles for banks on planning for the transition to a net zero economy, with setting of objectives aligned with net zero transition, and embedding them into internal processes.

According to data from the nonprofit Climate Bonds Initiative, a new green bond standard is expected to be adopted in Europe later this year, which will boost demand. European entities have issued $87.67 billion of green bonds in the April-June quarter, up 30% on the previous three months.
