Regulators to clamp down on greenwashing

Companies face growing pressure from stakeholders to be more transparent about their sustainability efforts and the environmental impact of their products, services, activities and policies. The Financial Conduct Authority also released a consultation paper proposing new rules for sustainable investment product labels in oct 2022, similar to the EU’s Taxonomy Regulation.
