Carbon removal provider Exomad Green has signed a multi-year offtake agreement with carbon credit procurement company Senken to deliver 105,000 tonnes of permanently removed CO₂ between 2026 and 2028 for the aviation sector. The deal marks an important step in supporting decarbonisation in one of the hardest-to-abate industries, as airlines face increasing pressure to cut emissions in line with net-zero targets.
The agreement reflects a broader industry shift toward prioritising permanent carbon removal solutions over traditional nature-based offsets, amid tighter regulation and higher expectations around climate integrity.
