Global corporates are renewing their net-zero commitments as decarbonisation pathways expand, according to Accenture’s latest Destination Net Zero 2025 report. The study highlights a resurgence in climate ambition, with 41% of the world’s top 2,000 companies now setting full value-chain net-zero targets.
Companies are increasingly adopting a broader set of decarbonisation tools to accelerate progress. However, only 16% are currently on track to achieve operational net zero by 2050. The findings reveal both the growing momentum and the ongoing execution gap shaping global corporate climate strategies.
