Serentica Renewables, backed by KKR, plans to raise USD 6–8 billion over the next five years as it accelerates its clean-energy expansion across India. The company aims to scale its portfolio to 17 GW by 2029/30, more than doubling its current installed capacity, through a mix of new-build renewable projects and acquisitions of operational or under-construction assets.
In parallel, the group’s infrastructure arm, Resonia, intends to invest USD 1.5–2.5 billion annually in transmission networks to efficiently move renewable power from generation sites to major consumption centres. This integrated strategy of expanding both renewable generation and grid infrastructure aligns with India’s national goal of reaching 500 GW of non-fossil electricity capacity by 2030, positioning Serentica and Resonia as key contributors to India’s net-zero transition.
