Microsoft announced that it has reportedly signed a multi-year deal and one of the largest carbon removal agreements to date, for the removal of up to 315,000 metric tons of CO2 with Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology company Heirloom.

ECB Stress Test: Banks’ Credit Risk Doubles by 2030 Under Slower Climate Transition

According to new climate stress test results released by the European Central Bank’s (ECB), If businesses and households would actions to reduce emissions, they would benefit from lower costs and reduced financial risks by the end of the decade. It also found that banks’ credit risk could rise by more than 100% by 2030 if initiatives to hit global climate goals are pushed off to the second half of the decade.
