Climate Fund Managers (CFM) has successfully closed its Climate Investor Two (CI2) fund with over US$1 billion in commitments. Supported by the European Union and the Dutch Fund for Climate and Development, the fund uses a blended finance model that combines public and private investments to support climate-resilient infrastructure. CI2 focuses on water, waste, and ocean-related projects across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, helping vulnerable communities adapt to the impacts of climate change. The initiative is expected to provide 16.5 million people with access to clean water and protect more than two million hectares of critical ecosystems.
