CDP has introduced the Adaptation & Action Explorer, an AI-powered platform designed to help cities, states, and regions convert climate risk data into practical adaptation strategies and finance-ready projects. The tool combines climate hazard mapping, AI analysis, and local government disclosures to support decision-making and improve resilience planning.
Built with support from Google.org, the platform draws on climate disclosures from more than 1,000 subnational governments across 80+ countries, representing 16% of the global population. By helping local authorities identify risks, prioritize actions, and present investment opportunities more clearly, the tool aims to bridge the gap between climate planning and funding.
