EDB Wins International Environment Finance IMPACT Award 2021

International Environment Finance IMPACT Award 2021 in the energy category is received by The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB. Every year, the international newspaper Environmental Financing and an independent panel of experts vote on the greatest impact investing and green finance. The new lighting network covers 238 streets and the Atyrau–Aktobe highway, total 242,620 metres in length. The project featured energy-efficient and energy-saving techniques, such as an automated outdoor lighting management system and LED bulbs, which helped to reduce maintenance costs by 36% and annual CO2 emissions by 0.6828 tonnes.Read more
