PwC has joined the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF) as a Global Accredited Partner, strengthening its role in helping financial institutions measure and disclose financed emissions. The partnership will support banks and investors in applying PCAF’s standardized approach to emissions linked to lending and investment activities.
Through the accreditation, PwC will provide capabilities spanning emissions measurement, data governance, automation, target-setting, disclosure readiness, and assurance. The move is expected to help financial institutions improve the quality and consistency of emissions reporting while integrating climate considerations into risk management and long-term sustainability strategies.
